The architecture I live in, the items that surround me and the way I think and speak have a mayor influence on the way I operate. I want to imagine an environment that communicates me being an unique individual that is living as a part of- and in relation to the whole world. This would have evident consequences for my actions. Next to considering my own advantages I would take the continuing consequences my acting entails into consideration. Not only because it affects others but also seeing that it comes back to me following the order of endless cause and effect. This could inform a natural lived responsibility towards myself and others. To be able to cooperate with others requires space for personal development at the same time. For a healthy society space and time for both approaches, the communal and the individual is required.
We can not go back in time, but I am keen to learn what I can contribute to society, by combining my everyday experiences with the far eastern teachings I am studying. This provides fertile ground for brand-new knowledge.
